Kevin Gray who Is known to his friends, family, and fans as K.I. is currently serving a 77yr. sentence for an armed robbery that he didn't commit. He was found "not guilty" of attempted murder and aggravated battery w/a firearm. Yes you read it correctly!! 77yrs. for 2 counts of armed robbery. At sentencing the judge tacked on 2 enhancements: discharging a firearm causing great bodily harm, 15yrs. to life, and 25yrs. to life. (While being acquitted of att. Murder and aggr.Battery w/firearm.) The enhancement law didn't come into effect until Nov. '2007. Mr. Gray caught his case in Oct.'2006. Which in turn makes the enhancements unconstitutional. And a Voided Sentence.
His 2 arresting officers have been convicted of charges and sentenced to do time in federal prison. He's recently had his case reheard in court, and was offered to relieve an enhancement. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, all proceedings have come to a halt. This is where the lines become Blurred and we demand justice! Kevin has chronic asthma and bronchitis which we all know are respiratory conditions. Which put him at a higher risk of contracting and falling victim to the Corona Virus, especially living in the conditions that are present in a penal institution. So at least grant him Home confinement.

Kevin has been actively working on his case for over 10yrs. (With the full support of his family). He also has a very promising music career waiting on him. This is a true testament of God's child holding on to his Faith in his darkest hour.
