"If men got periods, we wouldn't be having this conversation"

The last time you entered a public toilet, how much did they charge you for toilet paper? The answer is nothing. You paid nothing. This is due to toilet paper being essential, like it should be, however why isn't this the case for sanitary products? they keep us SANITARY just like toilet paper does. 

Free pads and tampons should be a human right. NONE of us chose to have a period each month and are unable to control our bodies to stop them for occurring. Therefore it is disgusting how men have expected woman to spend an average of  £10.24 per month on menstrual products which adds up to £4,916 during an average reproductive lifetime. It has also been brought to my attention that women's razors are around 11% more expensive than men's. Why is this the case? The products are exactly the same but due to the packaging either being blue or pink has an impact on the cost of the item. It is 2020 and women's bodies are still being ruled by men in a way that benefits them.

Some women even use a single tampon or pad for too long because they don't have extras or can't afford them, this results in them experiencing medical difficulties, such as Toxic Shock Syndrome which can often be life threatening.

This must end now. Menstrual products are essential. A period is not a luxury.
