In South Africa a woman is killed every 3 hours. Gender Based Violence and Femicide has become a widespread issue. No matter how much we march or protest women will always be endangered species in South Africa.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said the country will tighten laws on gender based violence and sexual offences. But the killers of Popi and Bongeka are still free, due to the police failing to investigate the murders. It's been 3 years but still nothing has been done.

South Africa needs to start protecting it's women. All women - Black, White, Indian, Coloureds etc. 

We as citizens of South Africa want The Minister of Police (Bheki Cele) and The President of South Africa to take action.We want justice for all women and children who were raped and killed and their killers still haven't been arrested.

A friend of mine was raped by a South African police officer, the same person who was supposed to keep her safe. South Africa is failing its women. 

We demand for action and justice!
