Course Options For All uO Students!

The Issue

Course options should be available because no one should be required to come to campus and attend lectures. For those who are disabled, symptomology can be inconsistent and sometimes those students can attend in person and other times, can't. And able-bodied students get sick and can't or shouldn't be on campus.

Currently, students are being excluded from their courses if they get sick due to a zero tolerance policy.

Students should not have to put their or others health at risk for an education. There's no reason to refuse inclusion when the infrastructure for the hybrid model has already been installed in classrooms.

Students at uOttawa should have more than one option to engage the education they pay for.

I encourage the University of Ottawa to make the appropriate changes to their current approach.
