🎉 Happy New Year, Coppell Family! 🎉
As we begin 2026, I hope you and your families enjoyed a restful and meaningful holiday season. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy New Year — and renewed energy for the year ahead.
🆕 Coppell ISD Board Leadership Update
We wanted to share an important update from Coppell ISD.
David Caviness, current CISD Board President, has announced that he will step down from the Board and will not run for re-election in 2026.
👉 You can read his message to the community here
We are grateful for leaders like David who have poured unconditional love for Coppell into real service. Roles like the CISD Board are volunteer positions, and nine years of dedicated service is a powerful reflection of commitment, character, and care for our schools and students. We wish him all the best in his next chapter.
At the same time, new leadership brings opportunity — an opportunity to reset, refocus, and prepare for the transformative decisions CISD will face in the coming years. I encourage everyone to stay informed, engaged, and involved as we work together to keep Coppell ISD among the most desirable districts in the state.
