Dear Coppell Community,

💡 Did You Know?
In August and September 2025, Coppell ISD held five community-engagement sessions at different schools, gathering feedback from over 600 residents and staff and collecting 2,300+ survey responses.
The result was a 100-page Community Dialogue Report summarizing what our community values most.  See the full report here.

Our team reviewed the report carefully — and what we found is eye-opening:

🔍 What the CISD Report Says We Want

✅ A long-term plan to address financial challenges.
Data-driven decision-making when tough calls must be made.
Transparency and genuine community engagement.
✅ Protection of walkability and neighborhood schools.
✅ Expanded open-enrollment opportunities.

🚫 What’s Missing in the Community’s Voice

❌ No mention of “regeneration.”
❌ No mention of “protecting borders.”
❌ No mention of “expandability.”

Yet — these are the very metrics and talking points CISD leadership continues to prioritize when justifying the current proposal.
Do you see the disconnect??
