The Issue

Introduction

Social media is not the enemy—it is how we use it that matters. By promoting responsible usage, setting limits, and standing against cyberbullying, we can create a healthier online environment. Let us advocate for kindness, mindfulness, and accountability in the digital space. Together, we can transform social media into a tool for connection and growth instead of addiction and harm.

‎Social media addiction can lead to poor academic performance, productivity loss, and weakened relationships. Cyberbullying, a form of bullying, can leave emotional scars and victims feel isolated. Awareness campaigns, stronger cyber laws, and digital literacy programs are needed to combat these issues. Parents and teachers should guide youth to balance screen time with real-world activities.
