Combat Global Warming in the Pacific Northwest

The Issue

Missing the early autumns of the Pacific Northwest which used to be so nice and cool brings me here today. Over the years, the increased temperature caused by global warming has changed the climate significantly. According to an EarthFix analysis, the average temperature in the Pacific Northwest has increased by 1.3 degrees Fahrenheit since 1895 (Source: OPB). Additionally, our normally cool autumns appear later each year, indicating an extension of the hot summer season. Not only does this impact our comfort and enjoyment of the season, but this climate change also affects the local ecology, agriculture, our planet, and the overall balance of our ecosystem. Therefore, we must address this issue immediately by urging local governments and corporations to reduce emissions, promote green energy, and implement sustainable practices. We can restore the balance together. Sign this petition to join the fight against global warming in the Pacific Northwest.
