We would like to have another lecturer who cares for our academic success and who will give us helpful updates and notes on our studies and assessments. Mr. S. Chikumba however gives us assessments that are vague to textbooks prescribed for us, in this case most if not all of the assessments he gives us are not related to our prescribed textbook and it also become an issue to prepare for our exam of the module.

Demand that the HOD take a look at the two modules exams and assess if our prescribed materials could have assisted fairly, lastly review for ambiguity of the assessment including exams.  Students say it is very hard to study the modules with such vagueness. We cannot depend Google for assessment answers while we have a prescribed material. A lecture can however prescribed good websites if he needs us to search, but we maintain that the modules need good compiled notes that portrays a well structured curriculum. 

We really acknowledge that this module/s are on Advanced diploma level and we expect no spoon feeding whatsoever, but a fair ground must be laid. As students we faced a huge challenge last semester and this semester too. We now plead that Mr. Chikumba be replaced with another lecturer if UNISA DMIE really care for our academic success.  We feel like our progression is on threat if we carry on like this.
