We would like to have another lecturer who cares for our academic success and who will give us helpful updates and notes on our studies and assessments. Mr. S. Chikumba however does not give assessments that are related to a textbook he prescribed for us, in this case most if not all of the assessments he gives us are not related to our prescribed textbook and it also become an issue to prepare for our exam of the module. Last semester we approached him and he told us to use google for the answers and was somehow unfair because we cannot use google more especially if no specific and trusted websites are indicated for that purpose, besides we have a prescribed textbook and it would be preferable to be assessed through it. We expected that Mr Chikumba could compile extra notes and share with us for studying and assessment if he deemed the textbook not to be enough.  

We really acknowledge that this module/s are on Advanced diploma level and we expect no spoon feeding whatsoever, but a fair ground must be laid. As students student we faced a huge challenge last semester and this semester too. We now plead that Mr. Chikumba be replaced with another lecturer if UNISA DMIE really care for our academic success.
