The possibly last Solar Carport Info Meeting is scheduled for tonight: Wednesday, May 11 6 p.m. Hamilton Community Center 503 Palm Drive (across from Beso) The city survey on the solar carport options is available online. Please vote for: OPTION E: To relocate the carport at the upper pool parking lot that was publicly noticed. There is still potential energy savings under this option and it will also have to go through another vetting before Council. P.S. We take issue with the biased nature of the survey which does not raise any of the community's concerns about security and vandalism. The artistic renderings of the tree mitigation is very inaccurate. Compare actual photos to the renderings and you will see that the tree trunk heights are very different.
