Hi Neighbors, I made an audio recording of the City's meeting that took place on Wednesday, April 6. I will try to get some bullet points out this evening. It's at novato.marin.exposed/hamilton-horrow-show/ The line that I like the best regarding the carport…"It's emblematic of the gulf of estrangement between Novato residents and City Staff and City Council. Turner's description of the mood is accurate as most of us have already expressed our frustration with the carport at the January meeting. This meeting was supposed to provide answers on the costs of the various remedies. However, the numbers are deceptive. The "difference" amount is the "opportunity cost" of not having solar. The savings amounts are not annual but for the entire term of the 25 years. I don't think they are adjusted to net present value. Option 3 is again not at the pool site as described. It is the Ground Mount system on the hillside which will likely produce a reflection, visible to nearby homes.
