Cape Coral ever increasing tightening restrictions on residents private property 

Ordinance 44-20 

We the people of Cape Coral would like to see this ordinance removed. 
This ordinance places burdens of increased privacy, safety, property damage issues on residents,pedestrians, additional financial and work load on code enforcement that come with being forced to park on a public easement when the option of parking on private property is taken away by the local government.
Residents that do only use their garage or driveway and maintain their surrounding public  easements will now have the neighbors cars parked on either side of their driveway/ medians  blocking the view of on coming traffic. Parking will no doubt become a contentious issue between neighbors. 

As tax paying property owners  we the people of  Cape Coral would like the freedoms that come with property ownership not located in a HOA.

This should include parking on our own private property. 
it is my belief the city is infringing on the civil and individual rights of property owners and tax paying citizens

The rampant government abuse of government declaring a property “blighted” /taking away the right to use property as one wishes. Goverment finding a loophole to abuse property owners by changing rules that govern how owners can use their property possibly wiping out the property’s market value.
