The education system was designed to prepare the future generation, but it is restricting the future of learning. Individuals should be free to follow their passions, and exam results should not limit future educational opportunities. 

Picture Dylan. He is a Year 11 student at school in Sydney NSW. He is interested in leadership, and wants to do a Creative Intelligence and Innovation Degree at UTS. Dylan spends his final years at school studying subjects that don't interest him, and any leadership events he attends and difference he makes in the community will decrease the likelihood he gains the ATAR of 92 required to get into university because he would be spending less time studying. Instead of preparing for the real world, Dylan forced into memorizing facts and learning things that will just be replaced by technology when he gets out of school.

We want to raise government awareness about how the education system is limiting individuals, and gain university support for alternate entry pathways based on individuals who make a difference in their community and prepare themselves to follow their passions.

As the future generation, most jobs will be replaced by technology. We will get the knowledge WHEN we need it and HOW we need it. We need world problem solvers, that is what computers won't do, not people that can solve quadratic equations. Employers aren't looking for people who can memorise facts, but people who are out of the box thinkers. 

Let's pave the future of education by parterning with governments and universities to allow students to follow their passions and not limited by exams that have almost no relevance in the real world.
