Bring Back IAS Officer Munish Mudgil As Comissioner Of Survey

The Issue

Less than a week after he was honoured with National award for e-governance by the Government Of India in recognition of his instantaneous over the counter for caste, income, residence certificates and excellence in citizens centric delivery, IAS officer Munish Mudgil has been transferred. An honest, efficient and upright officer, Mudgil has been previously transferred in September after he had sent a report to the anti-corruption bureau against a fellow officer seeking criminal action. Now he has again been transferred by the government after he ordered the deputation of 97 surveyors to various districts to clear the 1 lakh cases that were pending. However, instead of supporting him, the government of Karnataka has once again transferred him after CS Shadakshari, president of the state government employees association personally met Chief Minister of Karnataka B.S Yediyurappa and appealed for his transfer. This is a shameful act on the part of the BJP led state government which should be encouraging and standing by IAS officers who are fighting against corruption. We the people of Karnataka hereby demand that his transfer is cancelled and he is reduputed to his original posting and given full freedom and support by the state and central government to achieve his goals.
