So, I (and many others) were applaud to find that when the Social Spark event went live on 5th of October 2026 we had all been scammed out of gems (a really hard thing to get, unless to pay real money) and I have heard from a lot of people that other gem rewards, such as drawing art for other people from fanart flares.

The last Social Spark we were getting 500 gems, but now we are only getting 50 gems (that’s 10% of the original value), but that’s not the worst part. The Social Spark now requires 2000 likes for a 100% completion and the very desirable compliment bomb. This is an 1000 increase from the original amount of likes required for that compliment bomb.

We are all being wronged by Hubert and the CharacterHub staff. We need to stand up for ourselves. If we L4L and just accept that what they’ve done is the new rules of the Social Spark, then what else could they do? Keep lowing the gems we get? Increase the prices in the shop for items such as compliment bombs, spotlights and fanart flares.

What am I actually proposing?

• Returning Social Spark back to the previous rewards and goals.

• Everyone who participated in this event gets reimbursed (if it is possible) for the rewards they didn’t get.

• Shop rebalance (while not part of the Social Spark, but the prices in the store are extremely extortionate).

Let’s make the Social Spark actually worth it!
