As a resident deeply affected by unauthorized government overreach, this issue is personal to me. I write this with regard to the proposed implementation of Municipal-Wide Land Use Planning and Zoning Regulations by the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg. I believe it's of utmost importance to preserve our individual and collective rights to land use. Acknowledging that these proposed laws are expected to impact everyone differently, it is critical to remember that regulation can often lead to infringement on personal freedoms.

Our common goal must be to encourage the balanced growth of our community. However, this should not come at the expense of individual rights and freedoms. I urge both our citizens and officials to reconsider implementing these regulations that could potentially disrupt the lives of many and further complicate our social fabric. Stand with me against unnecessary government overreach and sign this petition. Let's pass the message that we advocate for responsible, fair, and freedom-conserving guidelines for land use planning and zoning in our municipality and we reject the implementation of the proposed Municipal-Wide Land Use Plan.
