If you look at a map of Cos Cob Harbor, you will find several islands and rocks with names that don't hold too much significance (Salt Rock, Goose Island, Red Rock, etc.). Upon seeing this, our naval fleet set out conquer Bluff Island, and rename it 'Bundenesia'; Bund- = German prefix for union, -nesia = Greek suffix for island. 'Bundenesia' reflects the impact that we can make when we work together.
