The goal of this petition is to implement mandatory human oversight in the banning processes of online platforms. By requiring that account bans be reviewed and confirmed by a human, we can reduce wrongful bans and protect the users' investments and trust in these platforms. This proactive measure ensures that bans are justified and accounts linked by mistake are swiftly reinstated.

Concrete steps should include the establishment of dedicated human review teams for account evaluations. Furthermore, platforms should provide users with a straightforward appeal process to contest bans they believe to be erroneous. These changes will not only fairly address grievances but also enhance user satisfaction and maintain the integrity and reputation of the platforms themselves.
