Donovan Glover is the Theatre Academy Chair and beloved teacher at CHAMPS Charter High School in Van Nuys, California. Glover has recently been asked to resign from CHAMPS and many students, including myself, are devastated by the news. Glover has been a huge part of what built the amazing theatre program we have here at CHAMPS. He has directed an abundance of shows as well as training his students to their fullest potential. Glover has been the face of the Theatre Academy for many years and none of us want that to change anytime soon. As a high school student planning to major in Theatre Arts, as many of my colleagues are, I have always been confident that Mr. Glover was going to play a big part in preparing me for just that. As an award-winning actor and playwright, CHAMPS is lucky to have such an amazing artist train the future. Help us keep this wonderful teacher in our community.
