After a travel time of 45-minutes to encourage a young player to flourish in basketball at the prestigious Oaklands Wolves facility, we are now met with the unjustifiable hurdle of excessive parking charges. This is our closest club to play basketball at national level.  As parents heavily invested in the growth and successes of basketball at this esteemed institution, paying high fees for the benefit of accessing high-quality coaching and leadership, we find the newly introduced parking fees not just disrespectful but seemingly unnecessary. 

These charges impact the entire community that uses this sports facility, often during evening hours, for the purpose of honing or supporting sporting talents.

The expense seems particularly unjust as these parking charges persist outside business hours, when most coaching sessions occur.  If the purpose of our visit is contributing to the lively, passionate sport culture that Oaklands Wolves is famed for, why are we penalised for it? It makes the entire exercise driven by greed rather than to support sporting talent. We believe that members who contribute to the college community should not be imposed with additional unnecessary costs.
