Coast Arts Collective started this petition to Central Coast Council

It's clear that, all along the shoreline, the Central Coast just north of Sydney is a beautiful place as it is. With its stunning beaches and its abundance of incredible bushwalks, this place is a relaxing getaway for city livers and a sanctuary those of us who are lucky to call this place home.

The majority of the Central Coasts youth are passionate upcomers who want more than just pubs to spend their time at. We value the natural beauty and abundance of our homes but crave to make this place more exciting, enjoyable and interactive for ourselves so Coast Arts Collective is proposing to the Central Coast Council that we get funding and approval to create more street art in our suburbs.

Some people say that street art is graffiti but there is a major difference between the two. Street art takes a lot of preparation, attention, time, skill and love to create. It displays a positive message and is a beautiful way to make our suburbs more colourful, interesting and interactive for artists, children, the community and for tourists.

This petition will be shown to the Central Coast Council to give them an extra push to allow us to beautify our suburbs with more street art so if you want to see some more of this on the Coast, please sign this petition!

Coast Arts Collective is a small group of residents and artists based on the Central Coast. Our mission is to bring art and the community together through free and interactive arts events.
