Yesterday evening the police interviewed Armando, following a report made about anti social behaviour, after the screening of episode eight of the Nightmare Neighbour Next Door. This report recognised the actions of Armando's neighbours as criminal. Sources close to Armando say his morale has received a boost from all the support from various directions since the broadcast and he welcomes the positive attitude taken by the police - who are now working with the council housing department over the issues. We wish to continue this petition to its conclusion in order to highlight the issue of people using the local council services as a means to target hobbyists like radio hams for no valid reason. We think the controlling behaviour demonstrated in this example is fairly common, and in this respect councils need to be able to recognise and prevent it. This can only be achieved by awareness and developing people friendly processes within the council group of services.
