I have been reviewing the strategy in respect of how to take this petition forward. This led me to Canterbury City Councils guidelines for petitioners. It appears you cannot petition over planning permission, but thats OK. This is about how Armando is being treated by his neighbours and the impact on his hobby which we want re-instated to a point he can operate satisfactorily to the standard he enjoyed at his previous home. We realise the planning issue is a separate matter but none the less it is the councils responsibility to keep Armando safe in his neighbourhood. On this score I have been hearing about some nasty little incident where dog poo was posted through his letterbox and other such incidents. Armando is following up on local media opportunities and I hope to have a meeting with him in due course. In the meantime, we need to get to 1500 signatures as the next milestone so thanks for getting us this far and please keep posting.
