Dr. Akinwumi Adesina is the 8th President of the Africa Development Bank (AfDB). He have achieved a lot in growing Africa's economy through agricultural innovations and funding. However, the United States, through its representative in the bank (Mr. Steven Dowd) and Mr. Steven Terner Mnuchin, who is serving as the United States Secretary of the Treasury as part of the Cabinet of Donald Trump.

Even after 400 years of slavery, the African economy is still being manipulated to make the African nations remain dependent on international aids. They take our natural resources for pennies and sell back to us for millions. They let us blame ourselves and our leaders for the poverty and hunger afflicting African nations. Then they turn around and throw pennies at us in the name of "aids" so we can remain dependent on them.

Since Dr. Adesina's appointment as the President of AfDB, he have boosted food production by an over 160 million metric tons over four years and attracted over $16 billion in private-sector investments in Africa. This has led to increase in Government revenues, and created more jobs, reduced poverty and hunger in Africa.

His vision and achievements have always been in line with the Global Goals 1 and 2 for Sustainable Development (SDGs), which is to reduce poverty and hunger. 

Those who benefit from the poverty in Africa are doing everything within their power to remove Dr. Adesina from saving the African nations from their cruel manipulations. 

The aim of this petition is to stand with Dr. Adesina as the 8th and 9th President of AfDB. He has done nothing wrong, other than his good will and intentions to save the African economy from cruel manipulation. After much research, the allegations made against him have been proven to be frivolous and an act to remove him from power by enemies of the African progress.
