With the Sparta School Boards decision to close the Cataract Elementary School, many families are left now to pick up the pieces and do what’s best for their children. With Sparta bus times looking to be over an hour one way for the majority of our prek-4th graders and upwards of 1.5 hours one way for some of our children, we find this Unacceptable. 2-3 in hours a day spent on the bus. Mel-Min school is offering to have one stop in Cataract to pick kids up who have open enrolled to their district. Please help us by signing this petition in support of SASD allowing Mel-Min one stop in Cataract For our children.
