Seniors and all students in Burnaby already have enough on their plate as it is, even without the Covid-19 virus complicating everything.

The capstone assignments are marketed towards us as a way of "Finding what we love" and "Discovering our passions", but in reality, its just more work that takes us away from the things we really find valuable in these times.

Do you really expect people to find things they love by forcing them? That comes naturally to everyone eventually. Generations of students before us didn't have to prove they "love" something to graduate, so why do we?

All respect to the students who have done these assignments, I don't believe their work should now go unnoticed or unrewarded anything like that, but it should not be a hard requirement for graduation. I've spoken with many peers and we all agree.
