Remove the fees from the dumps in Bundaberg

Remove the fees from the dumps in Bundaberg
The issue
We are all fed up with the charges OUR regional dumps pass on.
Not only is it a burden, the flow on of having charges in place results in people illegally dumping items around the region making us a very untidy town, it will surprise none why people dump illegally. Our town is dirty and needs a good clean (yes pressure wash it, but that is not the point here) and this is an excellent start. I imagine we would get questions in regards to the reduction of income the council would experience and what benefits this will achieve, here are a few ideas;
1. Reduced hours spent cleaning up the illegally dumped rubbish
2. Reduced administrative costs that collecting money costs and the monitoring of illegal dumping & clean up of such, through the various options the council uses (I do not need to explain this to the council, surely not?)
3. Increased income for regional businesses, therefore, creating employment as the town becomes more desirable to tourists
4. We are not proposing the removal of commercial dumping fees, however, the level of fee should be considered
5. Become a progressive city and draw further development to the area as we would become desirable
6. Reducing vermin as locals can visit the dump without issues
7. Green waste will be mostly removed from the wheelie bin
8. The list could go on .....
