Many people from our community, myself included, are passionate about skateboarding. We dream of a place where enthusiasts of all ages can come together, practice their skills, and enjoy the sport without the confines of narrow roads or small grounds that are currently all we have. Building a skatepark near Mistysugar Trail would not only fulfill this dream but greatly enhance our neighborhood's sense of community and vitality.

Skateboarding fosters physical activity and creativity, both of which are essential for a healthy and thriving community. With a dedicated skatepark, children, teenagers, and adults alike can engage in physical exercise, reducing screen time and encouraging a healthier lifestyle. Currently, without a specific place to practice, skaters are often forced into unsafe situations on roads, which can lead to potential accidents and conflicts with traffic.
