Weverse have recently added BTS merchandise made by israeli company urban sophistication. The BDS (boycott, divestment, sanctions) movement (which was started in 2005) calls for consumers to boycott israeli products in order to protest against the settler state's illegal occupation, apartheid and ethnic cleansing of Palestine; much like the boycotts against South African apartheid and the Montgomery bus boycotts during segregation in Alabama.

We, the undersigned, are supporters of Palestine who want an end to the genocide of Palestinians and occupation of Palestinian land. We refuse to purchase any merchandise created by israeli owned companies on stolen land. Many of us may choose to boycott BTS entirely for their continued support of israel since 2023.

BTS have accepted partnerships with other brands on the BDS list such as coca-cola and mcdonalds, and in doing so, implicitly support the colony. It is becoming clear that BTS prefer to maintain their position of power and influence instead of using it for the common good, thus with this petition we are asking them to take accountability for their support of israel.

Our demands:

1. Discontinue the merch made by urban sophistication
2. Refuse and cancel any contracts with companies on the BDS boycott list
3. Publicly acknowledge the genocide and illegal occupation of Palestine by the settler colony of israel
