Statscan in 2022 show that there are over 8 million Canadians out there with disabilities and most if not all are not getting the advocacy, access to the legal system and due process, or proper medical treatment that they need and deserve;

Unlike all the G7 and G20 nations except Russia, Canada lacks a federal disability Act like the Federal Disability of Act of 1990 in the USA;

In other G7 and G20 nations, a Federal Disability Act ensures equal opportunities and prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities, fostering a society that respects the dignity and worth of every individual, regardless of their health status or physical condition;

Such an Act would be a crucial pillar that can uphold the rights and protection Of people with disabilities with the collective voice Of Canadians so that millions Of citizens do not fall through the cracks Of societal misrepresentation; and We urge that you safeguarded for disabled citizens the same human rights, legal access and societal inclusion that other G7 and G20 nations have,
