Notice that Laurier & University Toronto Scarborough Campus has granted an extended winter break? Well I say we deserve one too! With transferring to an online learning platform, brock students have faced new challenges and stress that should be rewarded with an extended break to de-stress & be with family. As well, for the safety of ourselves & others, it would be best to extend the break to maintain safety between peer students that live together & our families. As most of us will go home and be with our families for christmas, the chances of bringing back covid to our student houses (or vice versa to our family homes) is increased. Students have felt restricted to return to hometowns throughout this year due to covid and the need to minimize our social bubble. So, in going home for christmas we will want to maximize our time with families. Sign this to extend our break and get your deserved time off!
