We, the fans of Nintendo, are calling on the company to bring back StreetPass Mii Plaza for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. StreetPass was more than just a feature, it was a vibrant social experience that turned everyday outings into and opportunity to meet and new users in a unqiue form on your 3DS system. From collecting puzzle pieces to battling in Mii-based games, StreetPass built a unique sense of community among 3DS fans. With new hardware  and a larger player base than ever, now is the perfect time to revive and evolve this beloved feature. 

Nintendo has not mentioned nor referenced StreetPass for a long time in any directs or posts on social media. Nintendo Switch 2 has many new releases coming in 2025/26 which could be perfect for StreetPass compatibility, this would allow players to make friends and collect unique items within the mini games on the Mii Plaza app itself. 

StreetPass was more than just a feature, it was a vibrant, one of a kind social experience that turned everyday outings into exciting opportunities to connect with other players. Whether you were commuting, walking around your neighborhood, or attending an event, every new StreetPass hit brought the joy of discovery to the community.

We’re asking Nintendo to not just bring back the name “StreetPass,” but to fully restore the StreetPass Mii Plaza app, complete with all of its original games, quirky music, plaza customization features, achievements, and interactive Mii encounters. We want the entire experience to return, just as it was on the Nintendo 3DS, with enhancements for a modern console.

We want:

• The full StreetPass Mii Plaza experience restored and upgraded for Nintendo Switch 2
• All original games, including Puzzle Swap, Find Mii, and downloadable minigames
• New customization options, including outfits, plaza themes, and more
• New features, such as online functionality, cloud saves, and friend integration
• Regular updates and special events to keep the experience fresh and connected to Nintendo's wider game releases
