Having grew up in Stirchley all my life and my family being here since the 1960s I am very Passionate about the place.

There's many little businesses popping up here and there that I personally don't like or use however I believe in choice and each to their own so I continue to let people be!

I have 7 adult children, 4 Grandbabies and a massive family here in Stirchley. My Mom was one of ten so as you can imagine we are a large clan. Everyone that I know including many residents want McDonald's here in Stirchley. It's not just about the affordability of the food there, it's more about the jobs it will bring to our community here in Stirchley.

Stirchley has had many Independent businesses over the years right back to 100 years ago so it's actually nothing new.

The Tobacconist has been here since the 50s and they're still thriving 70 odd years later.

We all live in this community and we should all have a choice on what we do and do not want, McDonald's is my choice so I can see Stirchley thrive along with Aldis, Lidl, Greggs etc they are bringing jobs that can lead to career progression unlike many of the smaller businesses here.

The food is on a completely different par to the Independents so no one should feel threatened by McDonald's.

If I'm having a nice birthday celebration I'm not gonna have it in Makky am I, I'd have it in one if the nicer restaurants like I did last week spending almost £250.

I've lived in the main Pershore Rd for 30 years and I know exactly how the traffic runs around here, on top of that I work in Domiciliary care out in the Community in peak traffic and it's literally a matter of minutes in difference at peak times so that excuse that the people who dislike McDonald's are coming up with is utter rubbish.

We've been having so much work lately especially on Lifford Lane and this is what creates the bad traffic. 

All the businesses especially on a weekend without their own parking congesting up the side rds along with the main Rd etc, this is causing traffic issues, the amount of people especially on thd weekends stood all over the pavements outside the bars getting sloshed, all this and yet us residents just continue to quietly get along with life. 

Myself along with manyh other lifelong residents want McDonald's here for many reasons and that's our choice. 

There is room for everyone here in Stirchley so if you're passionate about Stirchley and the generations to come who can gain lifelong employment in these establishments that'll most likely still be here in many years to come then Sign this petition and let's show them what us lifelong residents want here in Stirchley!!
