The City of Greater Geraldton is in a severe rental crisis, with vacancy rates below 1%. 

For local NDIS participants who need Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) or Supported Independent Living (SIL), finding an accessible, safe, and stable home is nearly impossible. 

Right now, vulnerable locals with disability are facing eviction, homelessness, and forced relocation to Perth just to access suitable housing. 

This is not okay.

The Solution:
GR8 Disability Housing has successfully built over 30 accessible homes across regional WA, including Busselton and Bunbury. They specialize in housing for NDIS participants to help people live safely and independently.

We, the undersigned, call on:
1.  GR8 Disability Housing to expand its construction pipeline to include Geraldton
2.  City of Greater Geraldton to proactively support this by identifying suitable land and streamlining planning approvals
3.  State Government to recognize the urgent unmet need in the Mid West and support investment in regional disability housing

Every person deserves a safe place to call home. Geraldton needs disability housing now.
