Facepunch is trying to remove the skill gap to make it a safer environment for new players that don't put in the time and hours to learn and improve. Which isn't a bad idea, although the ones that keep this game alive practice daily to improve there aim to have the enjoyment of being better then new players. The rust veterans that spent thousands of hours now feel unappreciated for there time and money spent in this game learning and improving there aim.

I believe Facepunch should find alternate routes in making it a better environment for new players, and saving the skill gap that makes Rust great. If new players love the game and the challenge of surviving Rust / learning  they will stay, if they don't have the time to get better, they will simply move on to a different game. 

Save the veterans of rust that kept this game alive through the years.
