The Issue

This show is something I literally looked forward to every week and actually brought me happiness, something most TV shows do not achieve. The Wayne’s family deserves their platform. They’ve been in the entertainment industry all of my life and I miss seeing them on the TV screen, but this show brought back quality TV, quality laughs, and quality storylines that always intertwined and were beautifully completed within 20-something minutes. All the good shows are being canceled, and it’s frustrating to see yet another fantastic series being taken away.

"Papa’s House" was a beacon of entertainment for many of us. It wasn't just a show; it was a weekly joy, filled with laughter and relatable stories that connected with audiences across the board. CBS tends to cancel many shows that hold depth, quality, and humor, leaving viewers bereft of content that feels real and enjoyable.

It’s disheartening to see a network continually disregard what their audience values. In a world where television increasingly feels like an endless stream of superficial content, "Papa's House" stood out with its refreshing approach and genuine warmth. It was a testament to the brilliance and comedic timing of the Waynes family, who have been stalwarts in the entertainment industry for decades.

The consistent cancellation of authentic and genuine programming sends a grim message to creators and fans alike – that quality is secondary to commercial interests, despite the critical acclaim or passionate viewership a show might have. By bringing back "Papa’s House," CBS would not only honor its fans but also reinforce its commitment to producing and supporting meaningful content.

We call on CBS to reconsider their decision and bring back "Papa's House." This show deserves a chance to thrive and continue bringing joy to our screens. Please sign this petition to help revive a show that means so much to so many.
