I’m writing this petition from the heart, in hopes of rallying support from our community to get our reliable and beloved postman back on our round. It's frustrating to experience parcels going missing and mail not being delivered as it should. We’ve all been there—awaiting an important letter or anticipating the arrival of a package. Now, more than ever, our community feels the absence of the one person who ensured our mail was delivered safely and on time.

Our usual postman, whose dedication and hard work have earned our trust over time, cultivated relationships with those on his route. Known for going the extra mile and made efforts to leave parcels in safe spots if no one was home. This familiarity and care are sorely missed, and it’s left us grappling with inconsistent delivery services that affect our daily lives.

I've spoken to several neighbours and it seems that the upheaval started when changes were made at our local postal office—leading to a disruption in delivery routes and staff assignments. In the past few months since our postman was reassigned, issues have ranged from packages left in unsafe locations to outright missing mail and delays.

What we're asking for isn’t outrageous—we simply want our usual postman reinstated to our area, where he truly made a difference.
