Beaches-East York city councilor Brad Bradford is attempting to petition against the opening of Sessions Cannabis on Kingston Rd due to its proximity to Beaches Montessori School. Keep in mind, this is a for-profit private school that only has students as old as 6. If you have even one of your feet in reality or have any understanding of how purchasing cannabis works you'd know that this is not only a complete non-issue but also just the wrong choice. As many residents have already pointed out there are multiple bars in the immediate vicinity as well as cigarettes being smoked freely on Kingston Road, both of which pose more damaging threats to children and toddlers than cannabis sale. If you're tired of the hypocrisy and overreaction please sign my anti-petition to allow for the opening of Sessions Cannabis. Thanks!
