GCSE's and A level's 2021 need to be cancelled in England. We have missed to much education to take the exams at the end of the academic year. With Wales and Scotland already cancelling exams, it is unfair to make students in England take the exams. In the end it doesn't matter where we were educated, we will all mix up in the end, so some students will have their predicted grades and some will have results from the exam that they weren't completely ready for or fully educated on. Fairness is key! Some students will have missed more school than others too. So students may have had to go on 2 week lockdown due to cases in classes and year groups and some wouldn't of had that at all so that isn't fair. It has such a big affect on our future that it needs to be solved quickly. It can't be left to the last minute to decide either, students need to know as the uncertainty on whether exams go ahead in England is causing damage to students. Even if they were put back by a month, we have still missed lots of education in the years that we need the education most- that month put back, could already be gone from having lockdowns from infections within schools. Students would still have to go to school of course and finish the curriculum but it would just mean that the stress would be eased and everyone would be treated the same and that would be fair. But also our teachers know us best when it comes to our education and ability so their prediction would be quite accurate. So please we need this to happen so that we all get the same opportunities, fairness and respect we deserve.
