The students at Connetquot High School and the Class of 2021 has been facing many obstacles approaching this 2020-2021 school year. I ask you to please sign this for the Class of 2021. Due to Covid-19, many changes have already taken place this year. We ask for your help to give us back the special things that make every school year memorable . Give us back our yearbook to look back on after High School. Give us everyday with our friends (just as other local L.I. schools are doing), instead of dividing us in our last year together. Last but not least, give us sports/clubs. Students look forward to school for these things and this year, we have not been given anything that other local schools have the advantage of during their senior year. Some students need sports/clubs, not only does it relieve stress for them and give them something to look forward to throughout the day, but it is necessary for those who want to commit to college for it as well. Other schools all across the island get the advantage to a normal senior year, and if the school does not give us back our senior year, we, the students will take charge or these things ourselves, and will be sure to take the proper precautions to prevent Covid-19.
