Lady Gaga may be white but she would be a perfect leader (we're not saying she should be the only one) for the #BlackLivesMatter movement. She is not only the inventor of gay rights but she has been the leader in rights for African Americans as well. 

When R. Kelly was falsely accused of having sex with underage girls, Gaga helped bring him back to relevance with their song and video "Do What You Want With My Body." She performed the song with him (see picture above), and even praised him as a person and artist. She wouldn't listen to white people who told her not to work with him. 

And although blackface is looked down upon (usually by white folks), Gaga posed in blackface to highlight the atrocities committed on African Americans. She posed with gay men dressed in blackface to show that gay men of color are repressed and need our compassion. She has also advocated for young women who were sexually assaulted. She is a leader and even though she isn't black, Gaga's involvement can help the #BlackLivesMatter movement especially with the younger generation.
