Although we are grateful for the extension of deadlines for assessments. More can be done to help alleviate some of the stress and hardship students at bimm are facing right now. We believe this will help ease some of the stress facing students and will help people’s mental health as a whole. 

A no detriment policy means that as long as a student passes an assessment, they cannot be given a mark below that of their average. However they can still improve on their average given the work is of the standard. 

This will help to ease the stress of Bimm students in the circumstance we all find ourselves in.

During this difficult time, students are under a lot of stress. We appreciate the help Bimm have given us but more needs to be done. 

Bimm should follow other universities such as Southampton, Liverpool and Cardiff in implementing a no detriment policy.
