In the first place I don't like these check points where traffic is moved into a single line and all vehicles must stop while an Border Patrol Agent asks if you are an American Citizen.  I doubt very much if they succeed in what they are attempting, which is to prevent illegal people from infiltrating the US.

Case in point. A woman student on her way to school must drive through one of these check points.  One day she forgot her books and remembered just a ways before reaching the check point.  She turned around and headed back to go home and get the books.  Well she didn't make it because one of the BP agents saw her and proceeded to stop her.  She told him she was heading home because she forgot her books and she was a student, etc.  The BP agent made her get out of her car, he hand cuffed her while he requested a drug dog to come and sniff out the car for drugs.  None were found, but this gal was kept standing handcuffed next to her car while the dogs searched it.   They finally cleared her and allowed her to go.  No doubt she missed attending her class.

I don't like this new America.  I have lived here for 84 years.  Never have I felt so humiliated, and demeaned from having to go through one of these check points.  I do not see the reason for them and I doubt, since everyone knows of them, that they actually capture enough illegals to cover the payrolls of these people.  I've counted 9 or 10 people standing around at these check points while only one checks the cars through.

The vehicles the Border Patrol use are well marked and even have the gum machine marbles on top as the Police do.  Yesterday I was driving home from a fiends place out on a back road which is the shortest way to my house and I glanced into my rear view mirror to see the flashing lights of a BP car right up my rear.  I almost panic, it happened so fast.  I immediately thought the cops had got me for something so I pulled over, only to see the vehicle go speeding past me.  Further down the road he did the same thing to a car down the road going the same direction as me.  The BP flashed his lights, pulled right in back of the guy and when the guy pulled over the BP car went around and kept going.  I'm still wondering what that was all about.  It was kind of scary. 

We have Border Patrol people running around everywhere here in the South West and still the Illegals manage to enter our country.  Something is wrong with this picture.
