TIME FOR CHANGE IS HERE   -   HOME OWNERS FORUM!

     All Home-Owners, First & New Home Buyers need to not be fooled by the Crisafulli Government & the Housing Minister Sam O’Connor that they care or want to protect Queenslanders.  We the homeowners of Queensland who have been navigating for years the Queensland Building & Construction Commission (QBCC) with their failed processes, practices, interpretations & misuse of government legislative - Enough is Enough!  

     Homeowners are required to pay a mandatory insurance for the ‘Home Warranty Insurance Scheme’ & are given the false security that this helps protect homeowners against defects, incomplete builds & building warranty.  It’s what you the homeowner doesn’t know that leads to financial hardship, mental & emotional distress; all the while the QBCC places the onus on homeowners to navigate the failing system.  It’s time this changed & homeowners are no long left in the dark scrambling for assistance & compliance from the entity (QBCC) that is legislatively meant to protect the rights of homeowners.  

     Don’t put or let your biggest asset & financial investment in the hands of rogue & untrustworthy builders, certifiers or engineers.  The First Home Owners Grant (FHOG) &/or Boost to Buy might only cost 2% to 5% now but buying a New Home, Display Home, Units or Highrise’s off the plan or even renovating has never been more dangerous in the current building industry.  Close your wallets and let’s talk about how the funding of the Home Warranty Insurance Scheme, National Construction Codes, Building Act & Board of Engineers Qld are key players in mandating QBCC Reform.
