I can't remain silent anymore because I have been on the receiving end of relentless harassment by YouTuber @teamrose for the past 18 months. No matter what steps I took, including trying to leave YouTube, the abuses continued unabated. This individual crosses all boundaries, even targeting family members – children and grandchildren. The insults are merciless as she labels people as traffickers, serial killers, and satanists. Disturbingly, YouTube seems unable to recognize and tackle the slander and abuse perpetrated by this user.

We had a harrowing experience when a fellow YouTuber, overwhelmed by the bullying, found themselves on the verge of ending their life. I remember standing in solidarity with others, anxiously waiting for the police to arrive and intervene. It was terrifying to witness and it leaves me with one pressing question: What if someone is pushed over the edge and succeeds next time?

YouTuber @teamrose, along with their backup channels @radicalrose4336 and @thedancingrose, must be banned for life. These channels have been repeatedly terminated for violent conduct, only for new ones to emerge in their wake. The channels are repeatedly filled with slanderous, tormenting content that can have dire psychological effects on victims.

YouTube, as a platform, has a duty to create a safe environment for all users. Currently, it fails in its duty by allowing persistent harassers like @teamrose to thrive and inflict harm on others. The Terms of Service clearly prohibit harassment, doxing, and bullying, but what is the use of these rules if they are not enforced?

Statistics from Pew Research Center indicate that 41% of adults in the U.S. have experienced some form of online harassment, with severe impacts on mental health. These behaviors need to be checked by platforms like YouTube that command global influence.

We urge YouTube to take definitive action to protect its community by permanently banning @teamrose and her associated channels. Once and for all, it is time for YouTube to step up and fulfill its obligations to protect users from such harm.
