Sportsmates came into existence with the most recent Nintendo Sports game: Nintendo Switch Sports. For years now, the Nintendo Sports series has always used the beloved Miis and the main and only playable characters. Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, and Wii U Sports have all taken great care in respecting Miis. Yet Nintendo Switch Sports trampled on that sacred duty and used SPORTSMATES. These characters would be fine in any other game series, but in the Nintendo Sports Series this is a slap in the face to Miis. For the last few years many long time fans have feared for the fate of the Miis due to the way Nintendo has been treating them, this is just further fuel to the fire for long time fans that we need to do something before we loose Miis forever. This is a petition to ask Nintendo to BAN SPORTSMATES FOREVER!! We never want to see them again in any future game and we wish to see Nintendo not only create more beloved Mii games but to NEVER replace Miis in any Mii game Sequels ever again.
