Sparx Reader should be banned for a few reasons. Firstly, it adds an excessive amount of homework to students' already busy schedules. With the addition of extra reading assignments, students are unable to focus on their other school work, leading to poorer performance in other subjects and overall. Secondly, it is a distraction in the classroom. As students focus on completing their Sparx Reader assignments, they are unable to pay attention to the lecture, which leads to a lack of understanding. Thirdly, the content provided by Sparx Reader is often of low quality and has little educational value. This leads to students wasting their time on meaningless assignments and not actually learning anything. Finally, the cost of the program and the subscription fees associated with it are quite costly, making it an unnecessary expense for schools and students. For these reasons, Sparx Reader should be banned from schools.
