Hello I feel we need to get a ban of reddit. This is a cause that effects us all in some way or another, as we can see there have been congressional hearings for other social media platforms (meta, tiktok, etc) but not reddit. Reddit does not serve any good and further causes division amongst people. It spreads misinformation, has no customer support, and a system in place that doesn't favor certain people like new ones to their site thus preventing any dialogs or sharing information. This site bullies people who use it and is more toxic than anything. It can act as a recruiting site for bad groups, terror grouos, toxic masculinity, etc. And allows it and does nothing to stop recruitment until it's too late. It does not give good information on subjects since anyone can post on them, thus its not very educational or good on fact checking things. The people who "operate" reddit know exactly what they're doing and the damage they are causing and that is why they do not offer any customer support. Their moderators for some of their subreddits we don't know a thing about them they very well could he grooming our children and have nefarious intentions and we can not let that go unchecked. Reddit does nothing to screen or monitor these interactions or who's in a position of power on subreddits

If we continue to let reddit go it will further spread misinformation and sow divide amongst the people and this could very well be a threat to our democracy it's basically brainwashing and recruiting others to false truths and conspiracy theories and away from fact. We need to act now. If we get a ban that could be the beginning of creating a better world. And by removing reddit we give bad people 1 less way to target and recruit others and that could be the difference in preventing a tragedy.
