Hi there , I’m choosing to start a petition in hopes of for ever banning red 40 for good .  

Red Dye 40 is one of the most widely used food dyes, as well as one of the most controversial.

The dye is thought to be linked to allergies, migraine, and mental disorders in children , and even cancer .

Unpublished research by Hofseth and his colleagues suggests that approved dyes like Red 40 and Yellow 5 can cause DNA damage in colon cancer cells in vitro with increased dosages and length of exposure, though the results have yet to be replicated in animal and human models.Dec 10, 2021
